About this episode

Turn it up to ELEVEN!
Legendary actor and environmental icon Ed Begley Jr. (This Is Spinal Tap, St. Elsewhere, Batman Forever, Pineapple Express, Better Call Saul) joins David A.R. White (God’s Not Dead, Pure Flix) for a hilarious, heartfelt, and super-green episode of The White House Pod - Dare to Dream!

Ed cranks the volume on:

Playing doomed drummer John “Stumpy” Pepys in the cult classic This Is Spinal Tap - the bizarre gardening accident, improvising with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and director Rob Reiner

6 Emmy-nominated years as Dr. Victor Ehrlich on St. Elsewhere (and working with a young Denzel Washington)

Classic roles in Arrested Development, Six Feet Under, Young Sheldon, and why he still gets recognized everywhere

Starting his eco-journey in 1970: Solar panels, electric cars, biking to premieres, and living off the grid in Hollywood

Passionate philanthropy: Saving the planet one compost bin at a time (and why it’s easier - and cheaper - than you think)
Beating Parkinson’s with positivity, faith, family, and a killer sense of humor

If you love rock mockumentaries that go to 11, 80s TV nostalgia, laugh-out-loud stories, or just want real inspiration to live greener - this episode is pure gold (and recyclable)!
